Atlanta's Latino barra brings South American flavor to MLS

Atlanta has quickly become one of MLS's loudest stadiums, and the Latino supporters' group is a big reason why.
Inspired by barras in Argentina, Colombia and Brazil, they bring constant drums, giant flags, and non-stop singing. The group mixes English and Spanish chants, making every game feel like a South American clásico.
Club staff say the atmosphere created by Latino fans helps attract new audiences. Many neutral visitors come once and leave as season ticket holders.
For the group's leaders, it's also about representation: "We want people to see that Latinos are a core part of soccer culture in this city," one capo explained.
With MLS attendance records being broken, expect more clubs to work closely with Latino fan groups in the coming years.
